I’ve been staying at this hotel in Wilmington for years. They are an economy hotel but their front desk staff would give any 4 star hotel a run for their money. I’ve interacted with certain staff over multiple years and they are always friendly and helpful.

OK, but not great stay
Everyone we dealt with (desk staff, maids, breakfast workers) were very friendly and helpful. But, the room was very small. The bed was small. The breakfast was only so-so. There was no eggs, bacon, or sausage. The elevator was broken the entire time we were there. Glad we were on the first floor. Would not be a problem walking up and down stairs to get to our room, but carrying luggage, etc up and down the stairs would not have been fun.

Meet Our Needs
Desk staff was amazing. I forget names but the purple haired young lady is AWESOME. Our room was smaller than we realized but functional. The room door is too large for the frame and didn't seat correctly so ALOT of light all the way around. The bathroom door did not close all the way. The window needs sealing as it sounded like it was open and we heard everything from the 3rd floor like we were on the 1st floor. Breakfast space is a little oddly laid out and hard to get to when alot of folks in the room.

Polite and friendly staff! Greeted each time by new and old staff. I didnt see her name tag but the wonderful woman doing a bang up job with breakfast and feeding Micheal, Steven, and co. the fish (and gave us a little tank introduction) I love her! So friendly! The pool hours were confusing to us, we were told closes at 10 pm and the next night we noticed a large group of people in the pool after 10 pm. We still had an amazing stay and enjoyed our pool time. Very clean well maintained outside and within the building. Strong clean scent throughout the building, except the stairwell. I strongly feel maybe a couple rounds of scented carpet powder in the stairs and it would be fine.
