Fabulous!
My hotel of choice when I stay over in Belfast after the Rugby. Very comfortable, great breakfast and the people who work here are really friendly and helpful.

Okay, but...
Breakfast okay, except for unappetising scrambled eggs. But poached, fried or boiled eggs available on request.
Poor clearance of used breakfast tables.
Evening meals not as appealing as in many restaurants in Belfast city centre. Room okay, with real ventilation as well as (noisy) aircon.

Assumed that this would be a top class hotel. It was average at best. Windows in room broken, tiles missing in bathroom, mould around the bath etc. It was adequate, but nothing more.

Very comfortable hotel with great staff. Only thing that the hotel down was the discoloured grouting around the bath which didn’t look great

Receptionist was lovely but the rest of the staff were ok, not particularly helpful. To be honest they seemed quite stretched & trying to cover too much. No water bottle left in the room & no wee extras at all which even in a 2* 3* hotel is always nice.

One night
Yes was ok, beds were comfortable. The bathroom in our room was badly maintained and the door handle fell off.

The staff was so friendly and wonderful. But housekeeping was not good at all. Also, there was a dog outside of the hotel that barked all night long and lots of people partying that you can hear. Great location and staff but not great for a family stay.

Won't be back. And would appreciate a refund
We've been going here for about 10 years now with the kids for Christmas night away mainly because of their pool. Sadly without any notice their pool wasn't open and hasn't been for 6 months. If we had of known this we wouldn't have booked with the Clayton. Our room was dirty and the furniture fell apart when my wife opened the bedside drawer. Our tv also had very poor reception which really put the early night tucked up in our room with a christmas movie didn't go to well either
