6/10 Good

The hotel is in a great area of Darwin. Its an old-sh hotel but still nice. Bar area is great. I found the service confusing. Many times I got mixed messages about my bill. Also, my room was hardly cleaned over a 6 day stay. Finally, the staff at Novotel need to communicate better to their guests. For instance, I booked accom for a group of 9 people and it was near on impossible to get a clear picture of our room bookings. Many times I got incorrect info via email that was later fixed. The problem was if I didnt pick up thier mistakes then I was paying the incorrect price at hefty amount.

10/10 Exceptional

The bath shower is archaic and the shelving in the bathroom is dangerous for shorter people with vey sharp edges. The TV mounted as you walk in the door is right in your face as it juts our, causing a sharp pause as you proceed through the door. The buffet breakfast was overpriced. But. the reception were fantastic and room had a wonderful view, but still needs an open air balcony.

8/10 Very good

Very convenient location and excellent waterfront lookout. Close to large playground for kids. Have a good restaurant and bar area as well as pool. Interior of rooms a bit tired, but perfectly fine for family holidays. Cleaners very busy and needed to catch up with them for the daily cleans.

8/10 Very good

This hotel was in good central position. Easy to walk to the Darwin waterfront and activities and also Mitchell and Smith Street. Breakfast was awsome everything we needed and we're pretty fussy with breakfast! Staff very attentive at cleaning away dishes and plates and restocking food and cold juices. We stayed for 7 days and the only down side was lack of towels as they were having issues with the dry cleaning company.Other than that would stay again.🙂

2/10 Poor

If you’re thinking of staying here…. Don’t. Worst hotel and service we’ve ever had in all our hotel stays. Checking in issues, room unavailable then not ready. No towels available. Very budget room. Cannot recommend.

4/10 Fair

Dirty room and no towels provided.
Awful experience. Dirty room. No bath towels at all provided for more than 24 hours. Family of five staying in a two bedroom apartment. Room was not cleaned on arrival. Kitchenette and bathroom were dirty. On check-in, staff mentioned no issues with room despite knowing that the hotel had no towels. Family of five paying a premium rate and we were expected to manage with one hand towel. Management were inept, offering a belated apology but no action.
