Was in town for my daughter to go to a concert. The staff were excellent, the location of the hotel was terrific, and it was inexpensive. BUT…the hotel is in dire need of a remodel. Has some cool older elements, but needs some refreshing, particularly the hall carpets and the guest rooms.

Not. $700 a night hotel.
For $700 a night I expected more up to date accommodations. The hallway floors were dirty, wallpaper ripped in the bathroom and the wood vanity was very old. The bed and pillows were comfy.

Tried to switch bed sizes
Was disappointed right from the start I paid for a king bed and they gave me a room with a double bed on a renovated floor. I was not concerned about the renovation I wanted a king size bed which seemed to disappoint them. I was then given the proper room on an older floor. The web site never said they were in a renovation mode which I feel that should have been stated on the site

Great location and hotel
The Hampton Inn Downtown Indianapolis across from Circle Center was a very nice hotel. Check in and out was very easy. We stayed during a very busy time, but they did a great job. It is an older hotel, so there were some things you could tell needed worked on. But otherwise it was a great location and experience.
