We were just staying here for an extra day we had in San Jose, so we weren't looking for anything special, but it certainly met our needs and was affordable. Put it this way: we stayed at a different place that was more expensive on the back end of our trip, and we wished we had just booked this place again! The area itself is nothing special, but if you like to walk (we do), we consider it reasonable walking distance to the main pedestrian/shopping areas.

The shuttle driver was there ready to pick us up, brought us promptly to the hotel. The hotel is not as close as it described to the airport. It’s clean and the staff were friendly. Noisy outside but we are only here one night. The offer a shuttle back to the airport for our small plane trip to our week long destination.

A nice hotel with much comfort and cleanliness. Bed was very comfortable, and rooms are modern. Stayed for only one night, but would like to stay longer because this is my kind of hotel. I wish that I had received their notification about a complimentary shuttle from the airport in time to take it. I don’t know when they sent it, but I saw the message 24 hours before I arrived, and when I inquired about it, I was told that I needed to give the hotel 36 hours advance notice. Taxi from airport was $35 USD. But the hotel is very nice along with the restaurant and the complimentary breakfast.
