This property is an excellent location in Montemvasia. The staff was welcoming, the location and position (right new the water) is beautiful. We would commend this to anyone that wants a comfortable, roomy experience. There is a marble well-cap in the center of the room that the archeological people didn't want to remove. I'm glad they didn't. We say a picture later in the museum!

The suites at Ardamis were a perfect fit for us. We occupied two suites (two couples) and in addition to the generous space and character of the private spaces, there was a shared courtyard, shaded by a huge and gorgeous bougainvillea tree with a table and chairs perfect for enjoying a glass of wine and a snack together. A terrific spot in the heart of Monemvasia. Highly recommended.

we enjoyed a wonderful stay in Ardamis. This is a family managed resort where the owners are very kind and helpful. The flat we stayed in is developed in a three floors inside an historical house, really cosy and furnished with taste styled furniture. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

We stayed in a two level suite with a lovely balcony with sea view. It felt like our private castle. Very charming! We ordered breakfast and we had it in a small veranda in front of our room. We wished we had stayed longer. Monemvasia is a unique place.

Absolutely magical town and adorable accommodations, but you may want to avoid if you have any elders in your traveling party. There are many steep, uneven, and slanted steps within the castle and down to the Ardamis hotel. I did not realize when I booked that the rooms would be multi-level, with bathrooms and beds separated by several stairs or up/down a whole flight. Definitely not ideal for the 90-year old man we had traveling with us! The host was SO kind though, letting us view all the available rooms to find the one that would work best for us. She really bent over backwards to help us, and I would stay there again (next time without my elderly father-in-law). The rooms were very well appointed and comfortable. It felt like sleeping in a luxurious castle! I wish we had spent a 3rd night; only 1 full day in Monemvasia was not enough. The hike to the top was spectacular, and you have to stop at the wine, honey, and olive oil shop for tastings (and to bring home tasty souvenirs)!

My husband was here four years ago on a solo trip and was determined to make sure I returned to experience Monemvasia and this hotel in particular. It is the perfect location -close to the main entrance so you don’t have to carry luggage too far. Our hostess was so kind, with advice on where to eat and things to do. Such a delightful village. The bed was very comfortable – there is a small refrigerator. There’s a courtyard to sit in as well as a little back patio, depending on which room you get. The shower is small, so ladies washing your hair can be a little tricky, but I made it work. Get up with the sunrise] and hike up to the ruins early before the crowds/heat and catch the pretty light.

Everything was great except for the mattress for the particular room where we stayed. The mattress was worn out and you could feel it. Very uncomfortable in any direction we tried sleeping in. My only complaint. Maybe they can consider renewing their mattresses.

Einfach nur schön... Kein Frühstück, keine Parkmöglichkeiten am Hotel (sondern weit außerhalb der Burg). Dessen muss man sich stets bewusst sein. Es lohnt sich jedoch innerhalb der Burg zu übernachten - auch mit Familie.
