Another excellent stay!
Annual holiday getaway! This hotel’s excellently situated. 2 blocks to Millennial Park, 1 block to State Street, and if you need to go farther it is right on the brown line. Hotel is lovely, check-in’s smooth, agents are efficient, and don’t miss interacting with Renee at the bar. She’s why we keep coming back to the Silversmith.

I stayed near my daughter's studio classrooms so that I could see her easily during my visit. I was close to the Art Institute, Michigan Avenue and State Street, as well as multiple MTC lines. It felt welcoming to return after each outing.

I was a little concerned about noise when we arrived since we were right next to the train but the sound was pretty muffled in our room. The restaurant had delicious food, a free coffee bar in the morning, and the staff was super friendly.

TV was terrible. Outdated and terrible picture and sound. Some stains, broken knobs, etc in the room. A lot of small issues we typically don’t see in other hotels in the area.
