This was an excellent hotel with a very friendly professional staff comfortable rooms and an excellent location adjacent to subway station and a block away from Penn Station and all of its subway stations. Nice hotel in great location . Service staff is lovely. Bakery and bar downstairs is amazing. A better hairdryer and a robe would put the icing on the cake. Room was very quiet and bed and pillows nice and comfortable. Renovations being done on outside of hotel and while we didn’t have a view out of our window we couldn’t see anything due to the blue paper on it.

This hotel is absolutely amazing. It’s clean, the staff are friendly, and it’s a gorgeous historical building. We loved staying here and we won’t be staying anywhere else from now on. The staircase is perfect for picture opportunities! We will be back! The only thing I will know is the fact that I had to pay a $200 authorization which is pretty normal for a hotel room, but it says that it is returned within 5 to 7 days. It’s been eight days for me since checkout and I’ve not received my authorization back and the hotel will not message me back. I’m hoping this can be resolved quickly because we had absolutely zero issues with our stay other than this.
