Historic hotel in a great location. Comfortable spacious room. We walked to most of the attractions that we visited, eg The National Gallery and a short Uber trip to some restaurants in Manuka. On site restaurant was good and a buzzing cafe with good coffee virtually next door. We would stay again.

A series of small irritations added up to a poor overall experience. The hotel is lovely and centrally located! No air conditioning, no reduction of room rate to compensate , no breakfast available because of early departure, limited selection to exchange for drink tickets (to compensate for no AC) all added to put a sour taste in our mouths.
