Hotel Serenella was fantastic. It was located in a wonderful old part of the town. The staff was welcoming and professional. Everything could be reached by walking and there were wonderful restaurants to eat. Directions from the Hotel were excellent and they were very quick in responding to any of your questions. Excellent 1 week stay at hotel serenella. Old fashioned style (in a good way - lovely old couches and antique furniture), lovely staff. Small pool area but also has lovely pier onto the lake with sunbeds and shady area. Quiet but only a few mins walk to the busy parts of sirmione. No issue ordering breakfast ahead of time as its easy to change what you want or change the time the day before - or choose once and leave it for the whole stay - not the hassle some people say it is. Breakfast was lovely and the poolside bar served food and drinks up to 6.30. Would definitely stay again.
