Gratuitous light polluter
Rooms are old style motel, as in 1960s. Otherwise the facility is nice. Nice pool. good restaurant/bar, the workout room is hidden on the 2nd floor, but is decent. Access point to the everglades. Most puzzling is why the pickleball courts are SUPER BRIGHTLY LIT ALL NIGHT?!? Leave the facility to see the milkyway and stars, a strong point of the area the owners obviously do not appreciate. .

Resort with old Florida charm
Great service with friendly people. They are in the process of upgrading the resort, so keep that in mind in regard to some of the rooms, but everything was clean and comfortable. We had a great time and would stay again!

This is a timeshare property. No one in the lobby after 5 PM. I had to call 3 times before talking to an actual person. Room was clean, so someone had to work there, which is why I gave it 2 stars. Otherwise, I never saw a staff member. Also, no one when I checked out the next morning at 9 AM. The area around was nice and safe, but you had to drive 20 miles into town to get something to eat.

Cozy and safe
As soon as we arrived we could tell this was going to be a relaxing time away with caring staff and a beautiful location. The pool and pool area are stunning and well taken care of. Everything was clean and inviting. The staff immediately gave us helpful information and even got us excited to check out the wildlife! We saw the biggest most vibrant grasshopper I've ever seen. The marina is a stone's throw from the furthest unit there. The only draw back would be the bed/room. It was no-frills, with minimal bedding and mismatched pillows (which actually worked out and our whole family knows what kind of pillow we prefer- never knew we would have such different preferences). The kitchen still needs some refining but the hospitality makes up for the lower tier food options. It was exactly what we were looking for. Not too fancy and very cozy and safe. 9.5/10 only for the room itself being pretty basic. The rest of the resort was wonderful!

I really enjoyed the location of it. You’re on the water. Close to kayaking, canoeing the manatees out in front with alligators. It was amazing.

2/10 Poor

This was advertised as a fully functioning resort. Enroute, we received a phone call from the receptionist who was barely understandable informing us that the reception would close at 5:00 pm. Upon arrival we were told that we could only sleep there, as everything was closed. But I still had to pay a $20 resort fee per room. The toilets in the reception area closed. Ice machine not working. Water dispenser not working. Swimming Pool closed. Restaurant closed. Bar closed. Tennis courts closed. The rooms were barely furnished, one lamp could only be turned on/off by plugging it in/ unplugging it, the list is to long to mention here. Upon returning to our rooms the second afternoon only one room had been serviced after complaining we were told that they do not service rooms, that the one room was done by mistake, upon further inspection we discovered that the cleaning staff had emptied the refrigerator and take personnel items left in the bathroom, again nothing could be done about it according to the receptionist. who claimed it was only his second day and the owner had gone home somewhere up north. I insisted that the receptionist call him, after a lengthy and somewhat heated telephone conversation during which I was called a cheap skate wanting the rooms for nothing as it was off season and I got a bargain rate, my complaint was that it was not advertised as off season online, that's an old web site that has not been updated was the reply ! DO NOT STAY HERE !!!!!!

They double-booked our room. After checking in and dropping off our stuff in the room, we came back to find another person in there-with our stuff. The desk worker quit, so there was nobody at the desk for the remainder of our stay. We literally had to find our own room to stay in and prayed nobody would come into it. The owner would not return any of our calls. It was like a ghost hotel. No staff, no breakfast, even though it was advertised on the site.

Had a pretty awful stay. Power went out several times for extended periods of time. Front staff couldn't do anything for us. I couldn't even get towels for my room. I wouldn't recommend staying here for anyone.

The restaurant was closed and so was the pool. These are the main reasons we selected it. AC was so loud we couldn't sleep at all. The bed was horrible. There were soft places were you sank down. The head of the bed was soft and the foot wasn't therefore you head was
