A few issues pre stay but the hotel went out of its way to compensate. Staff were excellent. Stayed in the hotel itself - previously stayed in the annex which had bigger rooms and a walk in shower. Shower over bath in hotel room ( good shower - tall sided bath!)

Secret is out in the "hush hush" village
Great place, lovely lodge clean quiet and very spacious. Staff were very friendly helpful and accommodating. On check in they were so informative and offered a free drink at the bar. Parking on site and near lodges. Area quiet historic and beautiful with good retail facilities about 10min drive.definitely will be returning for a longer visit.

The mattress was very old- the springs were felt and edge of the mattress stuck out. It was like the padding was missing. The door knob on the inside of the room fell off. Nice enough building. Staff were pleasant. Room was clean.
