I was thoroughly disappointed as the hotel failed to disclose the closure of its amenities, a critical factor in making my choice on where to stay. Hotels.com has a section for closures and remodeling, they've had months to update it.
The hotel offered access to the Orange Fitness but the round trip took me 30 min plus taxi cost. After my initial dispute, they offered to cover taxi cost but that didn't make up for the time. After continued disputes, I suggested they need to refund a portion of my stay. They offered an insulting 5%, an amount that didn't bridge the gap between their nightly cost and a competing hotel that had no amenities.
I extended my trip and quickly moved to the Ramada for the duration. It is a newer, cleaner hotel in the same area, would highly recommend it.
