The hotel has a great location and the staff were so friendly and helpful. We were able to walk to food and activities. Our young children enjoyed the pools (when they were open). The property as a whole, needs some updates. We had a pullout sofa in our room, it had crumbs all over when we opened it up. We had to ask for clean sheets and remake it ourselves. We found part of an old bagel under one of the beds. The grout in the bathroom area is practically nonexistent. Water from the shower would seep in there. The telephone has yellowed from age. I didn’t even want to pick it up to call the front desk. The indoor hot tub did was out of order the entire three nights we were there. On one of the days, the entire indoor pool was closed because the chemicals needed to be adjusted. The night before it closed, our kids swam in it and it was obvious the chemicals were strong. One kid said their throat was burning, another was struggling to breathe. All of them had so much chlorine in their hair that their hair was stiff. The outdoor hot tub had a pair of soaked socks and sticks from a suckers around it that were never picked up. If you stayed on further from the lobby, the WiFi didn’t work. We told several people before they said they were working on it but it wasn’t going to be an easy fix (apparently, there was a lightening storm that knocked it out). Compared to other places in the direct area, it was a really good price so I guess you get what you pay for.
