Off the beaten track
We had a nice overnighter here. Older property that has been renowed, bed was very comfortable, room quiet. TV was iffy, and plumbing dated. We ate at the restaurant and had a great meal and drinks. Can't ask for much more.

Property is dated even though the property is really good and very spacious Property outdoor lighting is very poor, so it gives the impression of unsafe while the property is safe

Comfortable stay
We had a wonderful one night stay between Quebec City and NS. The room was clean and newly renovated. The restaurant had a good selection of Indian food options which were delicious. The owner was very hands on and always checking to make sure all of out needs were met. My husband even got a shave and a haircut at the onsite barber shop. The pool was under renovations but looked like it will be amazing when completed.

The washroom toilet had rust all over and didn't look clean. the towel rack fell down as soon as i touch the towel. The rug didn't look clean. For breakfast, i tried the pancake machine and it didn,t work both time I got some burn pancake or an unbake one. Advise the clerk but didn't do anything to make it work. No fruit offering with breakfast, banana or other. Breakfast had toast, omelet, potatoes, cereal, juice and coffee, jams and butter. nothing else and pancake that didn't work.

Someone knocked at my door at 1am
Room was ok but coffee maker and mug wasn't clean. There was a bag of coffee used inside the machine and the mug was dirty with coffee. The worst part was someone knocking our door at 1am to ask about a paper that i filled when i checked in. The guy even asked if my husband could go down to fill the paper again cause apparently the attedent who was there earlier lost the paper. Of course he didnt go down in thw middle of the night because of a paper. Finally, when i go check out in the morning, everything was solved. When i asked why someone went to knock our door at 1am, the person didn't know and even agreeded that he could have waited until the morning to ask. Total lack of respect and professionalism.

The king mattress was new and oh so comfy. We booked a king with a sofa bed, there were 3 of us. The sofa bed had dirty sheets on it yuck, the mattress was thin. We understand they are up dating so I guess they will update the sofa mattress soonish. Supplied clean sheets apologized and we moved on By far the biggest issue was the Very noisy AC sounded like a dump truck was entering the room. We switched it off only to discover you can hear the other rooms AC units, arrrr. We arrived after dark, only ate wings which were good as was the local beer actually very nice local beer. Breakfast was meatless( no issue for us), eggs, home fries and pancakes, toast, muffins drinks. What was suppose to be hot was. There was plenty of everything. Overall a good stay We were enroute to elsewhere as were most of the guests we spoke to, all the staff we met were nice and friendly.
