This was our fourth stay at Hotel 57. We choose to stay there because of its wonderful staff, convenient and safe location, relative quietness, and good prices. The place is clean enough, but the duvet covers on the comforters are drab, and the couch in our room this time was old and uncleanable and should really be replaced.

The hotel is very well located and very good value for money. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean, had all basic amenities (including an iron/ ironing board), and the staff were friendly and attentive. The hotel does not have dining facilities so you have to go out for breakfast, but there are a number of close and reasonable options.

It was a false start for our first night with the Sky Suit ( full view affected by an old window in 1705 and no cable TV as they mentionned on their room amenities). The staff was great with us and they finally transfert us in a ne wkysuit for the 2 others night and it was perfect in the 1701.

Hotel 57 is perfect for those who don’t need much. Those who prefer to enjoy all that NYC has to offer can find this hotel perfect for their stay. Ships, transport, restaurants and churches all so close. I understand the hotel has a gym which is so great!
