Great Views and a First Class Stay!
Everything from the welcome to check-out was first class. Every staff member seemed happy to see you and concerned that you had a great experience. All this plus avoiding the crowds by having the Falls open to you after closing made for a wonderful stay. It was our first visit to a Belmond Hotel and we will look for these in the future!

Beautiful hotel set in nature
Great hotel - private access to the park is priceless. Lovely facilities, reasonably priced meals at restaurants and lovely staff. Would only recommend for 1-2 nights given the isolated location.

Wonderful stylish hotel with friendly staff
We had wondered whether to stay in the Gran Melia on the Argentinian side, but when we saw that hotel in the flesh, it looked like a 70s concrete structure, whereas the Belmont just has style and class and a stunning wide angle view of the falls, so we were so glad that we chose the Belmont. We also wondered how easy it would be to get from the Argentinian side to the Brazilian side, but the reality was that every taxi driver seemed to offer the service and for us, it was a simple 50 minute drive across the border. Once there, the staff were so friendly and helpful and they also gave us a complimentary late check out, which was great for a late flight. The decor of the hotel had a colonial feel, with stylish bars and a lovely terrace for having an evening cocktail or two. Overall, a magical hotel and highly recommended

The hotel and its staff are fantastic! Being the only hotel in the park allowed us to have a lot of time without the crowds that came in during the day. The staff did everything and anything they could to make our stay a lifelong memory of great times. Would not hesitate to go back!

The most wonderful hotel we have been too
The most wonderful place I have ever been. We have travelled a lot and this is possibly our favourite hotel ever. Unbelievable location, views and the falls … wow. The hotel is amazing food, bar, pool and service impeccable. We were upgraded to a suite which was stunning and they let us check in early and have breakfast as we arrived at 7am.. nothing is too much. If you get a chance go …

Fabulous Belmond
Beautiful hotel in the National Park, steps away from the walk along the river, with fantastic views of Iguasu Falls. Superb breakfast, very comfortable room, spotlessly clean and very well maintained. Great choice of dining - one gripe is that we were unexpectedly charged for filtered water at dinner (despite the fact that they freely hand out cans of water throughout the day, and provide 2 big bottles of filtered water at turn-down each night). We were able to catch the free shuttle (they run every 20 mins) to the gates and then a short walk to the Bird Park (the concierge organized our tickets in advance) which was most enjoyable. Hotel thoroughly recommended - not cheap but well worth the splurge!

Belmond at its best!
This is an amazing hotel only footsteps from and with views over the famous Iguazu Falls. From its pink facade to the sumptuous furnishings and artwork, the friendly and experienced staff, delicious food, this hotel has it all. The only small criticism I would make is regarding the plastic sun-bed cushions which are very uncomfortable and the towels just slip away. Some more up to date fabric covered cushions would be a very welcome improvement.

The hotel was absolutely amazing. The views of the waterfalls were gorgeous. The staff was amazing. Everyone at the front desk, concierge desk, restaurants, bars were multilingual so I could easily speak English with them. Everyone was so attentive and helpful and wanted us to have the best stay possible.

A Gem on the Falls
It is a great property to stay at the falls. It matches the expectation of Belmond. The best part is the location. You can visit falls many times during the day and evening without crowds.

Early morning and late afternoon access to the park from the hotel is worthwhile.

A stunning hotel in a stunning location. They got a little muddled with our bookings for dinner & cocktails but all was sorted with ease and no hassle. A fantastic place to stay. We can’t recommend it enough.

The Belmond was awesome! We highly recommend it. Its expensive, but worth it.

Showing its age
It was a very average room in need of a major renovation. The staff were mostly friendly and efficient. Our bar waiter, Filipe, was exceptional. On our last night in the hotel, there was a wedding and the service and food quality at dinner both suffered. The previous evening it was excellent. The ONLY reason that this hotel commands such sky-high prices is its location inside the park. The Iguassu Falls are incredible. There are certainly better value for money options to visit them.
Jeff, 3-night trip

8/10 Very good

Coffee
We had good weather for our stay. Didn’t like the desserts on the buffet. They all tasted the same really and too much gelatin. Would like to be able to access proper Americano coffees, even if you needed to pay for it as extra. Didn’t like the filter coffee.
