Has everything that you might need for a night stay. Right by the Loch with very nice views. Little dated, but thats its charm in itself! Very friendly staff. Recommend

Liked it so much I returned a few days later. Staff are a credit to the place. The views from the Loch View Rooms, restaurant, bar and beer garden are outstanding. The food was delicious.

Reasonable budget stay for a weekend. Nothing special, but when you just need a bed and a shower it's fine. Not the quietest place though, as the floorboards are very creaky and when there is live music in the bar it echoes and vibrates through the old building (finished at 10 though so not too late.)

Stayed for 5 nights, room comfortable and well equipped. Downstairs double.
Staff friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble, with my allergies they were happy to sort food with the chef and had oat milk available. Entertainment a couple nights a week, great singalong.

Wonderful view, nice to sit in garden overlooking the loch. We did not eat at hotel but booked at Cu Mara next door, excellent.
Our room (10) had very creaky uneven floors, but was clean and quite quiet overnight, last minute booking pleased to get a room.

Hotel is tired, flaky paint in room, poor shower, dated bathroom.
Contacted hotel 2 weeks before and was told did not need to book restaurant as loads of room only to find on check in could only eat at 6pm or 8.39 as coach loads in restaurant between those times.
Breakfast at 9 am poor, food looked like it was what was left from when put out at 7.30.
Disappointed stay.
However view great and good live music.
Barman excellent.

It was OK. A little dated but the bed was very comfy which was the main thing. The bathroom was a bit of a let down. The toilet didn't flush properly and there was mould above the shower. Cleaners started hoovering at 8 so perhaps not great if you want a lay in. Breakfast was so so...muffins dry and croissants over cooked. Hot buffet was cold but tasted OK. Coffee was very good though and they had oat milk which was a great touch. Location was great. View was stunning and definitely made up for it.

This is a 3 star hotel - not a 5 star - so expectations should be realistic. The staff were great. My room was ideal , had a very clean new bathroom. Bedding was clean etc. breakfast was real value for money. For the price I paid we were very very pleased and expectations were exceeded.
