Yikes….stay away
Everything was broken. I found the smoke detector broken and in a drawer. The door to was to the room was cut unevenly so you could see into the hall at the top of the door.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was fine and clean. The beds mattresses and linens were perfect. The hotel is old and the lobby is very run down which gives a bad vibe. The breakfast was good. I’d stay again but really someone needs to fix up the whole little lobby area to give a better impression!

When we walked into the hotel, we were skeptical, they are renovating and lobby was not well lit our room was well lit, modern and large. We were in for a wedding and this was the hotel reserved by the couple for guests. We were satisfied. Morning breakfast was ok. Waffles didn't cook well, but coffee and water cooler were good. Fruit and pastries were good. They had 2 cereal options. Parking was easy, as well as check in. Location wasnear the main street, so walkable to shops and restaurants.

A dingy, outdated facility that shows negligence. Surly, unhelpful staff, mostly invisible at all times. The property is located on a small square so the potential for something much better is certainly there. I would avoid this place unless others are full or excessively pricey. It shows negligence, both towards the facility and towards the guests.

Lobby unattended upon arrival, throughout the night, and all morning -- including checkout. If you want to be alone -- completely alone -- and do not require any service or attention, and you don't mind having to call a phone number to get in after midnight, then this is the place for you. If you don't care about bathroom doors that don't close, sawdust-stuffed pillows, hallways and other common areas in various states of disrepair, refrigerators on the brink, and empty vending machines, and a really, really basic breakfast. And, if you love the smell of cheap, nauseating air freshener in your room -- then I think you'll love this 1-star motel hidden behind a charming 18th century facade.

My stay at this hotel was, without a doubt, one of the worst travel experiences I've ever had. It started right at check-in when the front desk staff informed us that the area was not safe, and they would need to lock the doors at night. Their reasoning? They were located across the street from a park notorious for local drug deals. This immediately set a tone of unease for the entire stay. The issues continued with our room. The air conditioning was broken, and it took three requests before any action was taken. When we called for the third time late in the day, we were told they couldn’t get a technician to fix it. Instead, they moved us to another room, which didn’t even have the king-sized bed we had originally booked. This room switch felt like a downgrade, rather than a solution. As if that wasn't enough, both rooms we stayed in were crawling with spiders in the window crevices, and stink bugs were randomly scattered throughout the property. The lobby had a constant, overwhelming smell of sewage, making it unpleasant to even walk through. To make matters worse, the TV in the lobby was always set to Fox News, which was frustratingly unavoidable. The hotel advertised a "free continental breakfast," but this turned out to be a complete joke. The breakfast was extremely limited and only served at 7 a.m. until it ran out, which, as we learned, was by 8 a.m. No egg patties were left by then. To make matters worse, another guest warned us to stay away from the apple juice a

The immediate surrounding area of the parking lot was a bit uncomfortable. The hotel itself needs updating in areas, but the staff were professional and accommodating.

The air conditioner in the room didn't really work, but it wasn't super hot out so I didn't bother reporting it. Also, it's not really anything to do with the hotel, but the buildings by the parking lot are falling down.
