Loved the hotel, a beautiful building. The room was very spacious and comfortable, good aircon, wi -fi was a bit hit and miss during part of my stay. Large bathroom, with bath and shower, very nice toiletries. Breakfast very good, plenty of choice, nice coffee (although a couple of times the staff forgot to take my order). I didn't eat in the main restaurant but had a nice meal in the wine bar. The only downside is if you haven't got a car, you either have to pay E35/40 for taxi each way into Perugia,( even more to Assisi) or miss breakfast and catch a bus at 7.00am (not another one until about 3.00pm in afternoon) and the last bus back is 7.00pm from Perugia. Two excellent museums, one for wine and one olive oil. Highly recommend the white wine Torre di Giano! which I had in the little Osteria del Museo next to the museum, run by lovely people.
I enjoyed my stay but it was very difficult to get anywhere, you do need a car.
