This is not a hotel to choose for this section of Lusaka (government office/NGO section), as there are other more functional hotels of similar price in the general area. I arrived after a late flight from Nairobi only to find that the night clerk was mystified by a hotels.com voucher and confirmation number, so I had to pay at the desk (luckily the card reader read my Visa, not always a given in Zambia) and then settle up the following morning with the manager. The bellhop then took me to a room with a leaking toilet that I only discovered after he left. So, 25 min after arriving, I finally had a room. The hotel allows only 1 hr of free internet per day, and the bed had bedbugs. The bar was extremely noisy until 2am, and renovation crews woke me up at 5am. Finally, the beds stank of cigarette smoke and had a couple of bedbugs visit during the night. I have stayed in nearly 100 hotels of a variety of price ranges, and this was easily the worst experience.
