Breakfast was amazing and hotel location great. The only negative is the construction that is not over yet - so noisy at times. But loved it and will definitely me back.

The place is nice and comfortable. I booked a standard studio room for two nights. The room was clean and tidy, the bed was comfortable, the TV screen is nice and big with great picture quality. The fridge is a decent size and you can place a lot of food inside it. It was also nice to have a balcony. The shower and bathroom are spacious and they were in good condition. On the rooftop is a small swimming pool and a view of the Atlantic ocean. The gym is also decent. Overall I would recommend this as a place to stay in while you are visiting Cape Town.

The hotel itself is acceptable. You can hear noise from the hallway and adjacent rooms however. The staff at the reception were a big disappointment as they were not helpful at all.
Some other big negatives were the use of facial recognition cameras to get access to the elevators and get into the hotel from the garage. The hotel refused to give any keycards for me who did not want to register my face in their system. My partner agreed to register her face so we could get to the room. The system did not work very well however and we got stuck in the garage at two occasions.
Another thing was the breakfast. We paid extra to have breakfast included and the breakfast was served in the restaurant/coffee shop on the ground floor, which was open to outside guests. We ordered our breakfast and afterwards received a phone call from the reception telling us we had ordered too much for breakfast and they wanted us to pay extra. Apparently they had a limit of 600 Rand for breakfast but had not told us about it. The bill however stated that 10 % of that was service charge so you had even less to order for without paying extra. And the restaurant itself was not a cheap restaurant so do not expect to be able to get completely full if you do not want to pay extra.
The stay was acceptable but we will choose another hotel next time we go to Cape town.

The suite was excellent but we found the bed to be hard and bedroom quite stuffy at night as there was no ventilation when the doors were closed. Not much of a view from the balcony but nice to have the outdoor space. We really loved the breakfast place, Sonny and Irene’s, it was fantastic, truly!
Overall a wonderful stay.

Everything about my stay was flawless. Hotel staff are very helpful and friendly. My room was very big and well equipped. Bed linen was lovely. Everything was spotless. Really enjoyed my stay and it’s within walking distance to the beach, loads of restaurants and shops. The only thing to be aware of is that rooms facing the main road will inevitably experience some traffic noise. It’s to be be expected and didn’t bother me much as I packed earplugs.

Everything was great - the staff was polite and friendly. Only one caveat is that breakfast only opens at 8:00 AM, and we left earlier for our daily activities so It was a hassle to pre order and they said yes one time and then no the next day. Other than that everything was great and I highly recommend the hotel.

All was great, but breakfast only starting at 8am, when you need to be in the office at 8am, us a problem.

Very good overall. Comfortable, good size room, comfy bed and great shower. Great TV. Short on some items: only one glass and one coffee cup. No soap in the shower. Small things but slightly irritating.

It was ok - the bathroom door handle was broken and TV didn’t work. The main issue was the noise - the doors slammed on neighbouring rooms and you could hear it in your room all night. big queues for breakfast although excellent food and juices.

This hotel is new and very well appointed. The breakfast restaurant only opens at 8 am, which was not mentioned in advance. There is a coffee shop and juice bar that opens at 7.30. The croissants are delicious. The room was very nice, but not entirely clean (hair in shower and basin, and bits of TP on toilet). The hotel requires you to use facial recognition software to enter the building. This should be made clear when making a reservation. The gym had nice equipment except that one treadmill wasn't working and the other stopped after 7 minutes (it needs servicing). the bed was comfortable; the kettle did not work, and although I requested a replacement it did not arrive. The room was not serviced during my stay.

It’s a beautiful and comfortable hotel. Excellent rooms for comfort, decor, spaciousness, cleanliness and amenities. Staff was top notch in friendliness and service. Amazing roof deck and pool with stellar sunset view. My only issue with the hotel was the booking situation. I shortened my stay two days (for two rooms) but was not allowed to reduce the cost. I paid the full 7 days. I don’t really understand why that simple change was not allowed. As it was, they could have ended up being paid double on our rooms for those nights. I’m not seeing that as fair. It was also impossible to communicate with the hotel prior to my stay. They did not respond to emails.
