2/10 Poor

Property charged my card upon reservation and not upon arrival. Property was overbooked, so they put us in their 'cabin' about three blocks from the main site. (Never saw enough vehicles to believe overbooked.) Cabin did not have WiFi connectivity. Exterior was is poor condition. Windows single-paned from the 50s. Curtains an after-thought. Carpet 60s beige, and badly spotted by the door because no cutout for weather. Full sofa and half sofa hide-a-beds. Half sofa was a fire code violation when closed because partially blocked access to bedroom. Would have fully blocked access if unfolded. Modern TV on floor, with 2-ft diameter table and to put it on, if you didn't want to use it for anything else. Baseboard heat. AC unit poorly installed, and probably the cheapest one I have seen in my life. Nice appliances in kitchen (Refrigerator, microwave, stove) but countertops and cupboards were from 60s. Bathroom needed renovation, although the tub was satisfactory. Back entrance to service station had semis passing thirty feet away all night long, plus Amtrak station across the highway. Left three days early, in spite of having paid for the remaining nights. Highly dissatisfied, but no recourse on the highly excessive prices (for value received). DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!! I do not understand why Expedia lists it since it is so bad.

Not so good
For the price, this was a dump. Shower leaked. Lights didn’t work well. No facial tissues. Hot water good. Bed and pillows and bedding good. Furniture beat up. Dirty exterior.

Never again
There were lights that didnt work. The bathroom door stuck and was hard to open and shut. There was no area big enough to we parked just off the street. The yard was way over grown and there was garbage all over.

Keep on driving
The property is very run down and dirty, my wife stepped on the exposed carpet tack strip and cut her foot, the bed was not comfortable and the pillows had to be about 1” thick. I will bypass East Glacier in my next trip to that area

8/10 Very good

Quaint motel
It was a good stay. Was cold and the heater was not working, but the clerk let us use a space heater and it keep it warm.

This place is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. Their pictures are not at all representative of what it actually is. This place is horrible. It is not clean. It’s run down. It’s by a condemned motel building. We were tempted to get another place but we left early in the morning. I would run from staying at this place.

Hotel was run down and dated. Terrible parking. Not worth the money I spent, period. Hotels.com shall not be used by me again.

Don’t book this property if you want to guarantee you have a place to stay. When I went to check in for my two night stay, I was informed they had double booked and only had a room for us the first night. Although they did reduce the price for that first night, it still left me without a place to stay. I had to adjust my itinerary and book a room 100 miles away the next night because nothing was available nearby. I don’t understand how nobody could call and let us know the situation in advance and instead I was informed when I showed up. Very poor customer service and not much of an apology considering the huge inconvenience this caused. The property is under new management and they make an effort to keep it clean and comfortable. Still not worth the risk of showing up and not having your reservation honored.

This place should beshut down. Dank rooms without windows and electrical out problems so they tried tohandme a surge protector extension cord. We forfeited our money and stayed somewhere else. 1 star is too much.

First the good …. the TV worked …. and basically that’s it. This property was disappointing. It’s dated, which is a non issue, but dated and dirty simply not a good combination. The room(s) need a deep cleaning which would take time and some effort which obviously has not happened since several previous reviews say exactly the same thing. I saw two rooms. The first hadn’t been cleaned prior to entering. The second had but the cleaning was lacking. The other issue …. several amenities which were listed are not available. No in room washer and dryer; no continental breakfast and limited WI-FI/internet access in all rooms. There was connectivity in the office but not ideal elsewhere. Also noteworthy, room needed some maintenance work. The furnace did not work. A small space heater was provided but all appliances could not be plugged in when using it. You had to stand on a chair to reach the chain to turn on the kitchen light. Whenever these things were brought up, I was given the company line, “it’s being worked on or waiting to hear back from the boss”. I feel the property has potential but they’re simply not there yet and have a long way to go.

Checked in at 5pm. Lobby was the size of a large closet. "Free coffee' in lobby was a Mr Coffee pot that was made at 9am. When asked about continental breakfast was told owner might come in a.m. and offer us a microwaveable burrito. Room was filthy. Carpets gross. Stains on walls. Hair on shower wall. Many plugs did not work. Some were missing covers. No in room laundry. Room not " soundproof" as advertised. Car doors closing late at night. Crazed lady banging on doors and screaming at 5am. Light in hall outside room lit up room all night. Booked 2 nights stayed 1. No answer when calling hotel. This place should be shut down for false advertising.

It was the dirtiest place we have ever stayed in and left a day early with the loss of a night's prepaid money. Extension cords keep the place powered, unsure if any bedding was clean, found 2, yes 2. pair of underwear found in the room, no outlets in half the room.....front desk said :not my problem," It was a dump...drive by fast... The beds were comfortable. It would be good if they gave you written instructions as to how to work the 2 TV remotes. The ‘free breakfast’ was a joke - they handed us 2 breakfast burritos the night before & we were supposed to microwave them ourselves in the morning. The baseboards in the bathroom were filthy & the mat in the shower was gross.

East Glacier stay
Property lacks general upkeep and maintenance. Carpet was filthy. Bed so soft you would roll off the edge if you got too close. Small room space heater for room heat while old dilapidated heater remains taking up space. Black out curtains stapled to window frame. Owner should use the overpriced room rental to put back into fixing up his property. No lamp on night stand.
