Excellent Location and scenic view
Location was excellent. And the view is amazing. I booked this hotel because of the fantastic pics and the view did not disappoint. I was disappointed that the terrace was locked my entire stay. I was hoping to get some pictures from there.The woman who was cleaning the rooms on my floor was very nice and did a wonderful job. The gentlemen at the front desk were ok- depending on who was working. I asked one to call me a taxi the first morning and he told me to use the app or walk to the taxi stand down the street. I was a bit surprised, as I have never had a hotel front desk not call a taxi when asked to call a taxi. I am phone savvy and downloaded the app real quick as I wasn't sure where or how far the taxi stand was since I had just arrived and had to be somewhere at a specific time.
Once I got my bearings, I used mostly public transit- there is a ferry stop just a bit down from the tram stop right across the street from the hotel. Close to Egyptian Bazaar and Hague Sophia.
