For the start of the trip during arrival, the hotel made us wait around 1 hour to line up for check in, which was rather unpleasant as we had to just stand and wait, it is the first time I’ve experience this in a 5 star hotel. The room was fine as described during booking. During the stay, room service was ordered, food was good. However the waiter which bought the food to the room, a glass of Champagne was order during the service, however, rather due to inexperience waiter, he’s given less than a glass of champagne amount, which is rather feels like a scam for a small glass, which other high end restaurants with Michelin would rather have a more reasonable amount. During the stay was ok, until the next day. For our check out, yet had to line up for about 15 minutes until a staff came to ask about check out, that we could do quick check out if we did not have outstanding payment. Staffs at the check in lobby was rather not attentive, which cause a lot of unnecessary wait, overall the staffs cause a lot of other customers patience while my wait. I rather not recommend this hotel again if the service is provided this way. Understand the amount of people during arrival that day, but the operational efficiency was rather low with significant delays during check in with a wait time almost 1 hour after arrival, this shows the hotel W Macau with very ineffective queue management and with poor average check in duration and guest processing.
