Check-in time is listed as 2:00pm, we arrived to the villa at 1:40pm to ensure we could get into our room by 2, to make a 4pm reservation. As we waited in the heat for our room to be ready, we watched the Travel desk agent offer water to every single other group except for us. When I requested she bring a water to my friend—I was ignored. At 3:15 I had to walk up to the desk to get an update! An entire hour and a half after check in we were told our room wasn’t available still (It was being cleaned)….we were offered a free beverage in exchange for waiting. While sitting enjoying our lukewarm waters, we watched several other groups go to their rooms. After complaining because it was 3:40, Merry (the manager) offered us a voucher to eat a free dinner during our stay. When I brought the issues up, she mentioned that they are not racist although I never mentioned race which made me MORE uncomfortable. When arriving to our “upgraded” room, it was nothing but standard. By day two we had giant cockroaches flying in the bathroom area. We tried to stay out of the villa as much as possible after this. On the final day we had a flight leaving at 1am, we were running behind and left the key in the door so we could get to the airport. When getting in the Grab, the guard at the gate stopped us saying he needed to do a full walkthrough before we left. We were displeased by Typhoon Mawar and couldnt afford to miss the flight. They ultimately made us miss our flught. I WILL NEVER STAY HERE
