When checking in the staff member copied my drivers license but didn't return it - he was more concerned about the $200 hold on my card and whispering through the plexiglass that is installed. My room smelled like a bottle of cheap cologne was spilled in the room and the scent did not dissipate throughout my stay. The hallways are not temperature controlled and are stifling hot when it is hot outside. Although there was breakfast every morning the gluten free options are limited to yogurt, eggs and limited fruit. Breakfast the second day was chaos - people pushing in front of others to get what they wanted and there is no semblance to the set up so people are every where. The room was clean and well kept - I really appreciate the microwave and fridge in the room so I am able to bring my prepped food with me.

My stay was not what I was expecting. The room itself was clean and updated, but there were a number of issues with the room. Right off the bat, the toilet wouldn't flush. I checked the tank and there was no water in it. I called down to the front desk to have it resolved. They said they were alone and had no one to send up, so they asked me to put water in the tank and to call back if it still wasn't working (it worked, thankfully, but I shouldn't have to put water in the toilet to make it function). I had to do this multiple times in my one night there just to get the toilet to flush. The connecting door to the room next to mine - it didn't lock. The deadbolt had been painted shut so the lock mechanism couldn't move. The door stopper worked so that was okay I guess. I could hear that I had neighhours too, so I moved a large chair in front of the door for peace of mind. I then went to draw a bath for my child - the stopper in the tub didn't work so the water wouldn't stay in the tub. I had to use the ice bucket and just pour water over her to bathe her. Also, the water was either ice cold or extremely hot - no in between. Finally, when I went to close the curtains for bedtime, I saw a pile of plaster on the floor. I looked up and saw the ceiling was crumbling and it looked like the curtain rod could fall down if pulled too hard. The breakfast was the only good thing about it. Overall, dissatisfying. I wouldn’t stay here again.
