Weekend at Milford on Sea
We enjoyed a winter break at Milford on Sea and the hotel was a great break for a weekend retreat.

Long weekend near Christchurch
Beautiful room and lovely stay in what was a stormy weekend! Not many places to eat within walking distance at that time of the year, the food in the hotel was lovely and they are very dog friendly in the coffee lounge.

Very warm, welcoming place. It still had the feeling of the family home that it once was. We were really well looked after.

Lovely quaint place to stay
This was a lovely stay had a really if spacious room with everything you could need for a few days stay view from room 8 lovely its quite oldy worldy but has so much character, bed big and spacious loads of storage space for 2. Had breakfast which was grand only thing was the getting up and down 4 to 5 times to keep topping up the tea food which are quite small, it would be a better idea to have little teapots that you could fill at the start of your breakfast instead of teabag in a small cup and having to continually top up with the hot water pump flask, this is my only gripe over our 2 nights stay. All staff were very welcoming and friendly.

Peace and Beauty
What a great find! Old world beauty and charm with all the comforts of a modern hotel. Great walks along the beachfront. The room was spacious and extremely comfortable and we enjoyed a nightcap in the lounge.

Unexpected cottage stay
Never realised that Beach House Hotel had cottages which is where we stayed with our dog for one night. The cottage itself was very comfortable having two big tv screens on the wall one in the living room and one in the bedroom. A very large en-suite and all mod cons. All staff were very polite and a good breakfast in the morning. The hotel had a wonderful garden leading out to a great sea view.
Rear of hotel with lots of seating area

The property had little or no WiFi which in these days, needs to be confessed to. Apart from that, it’s a truly beautiful, unique place to stay and the views of the Needles is phenomenal

We loved it so much we stayed an extra night!!
We loved this hotel so much that we stayed an extra night. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was outstanding, especially the home made granola, we ate in the restaurant one evening which was good too. Location is great and the room we had with a sea view was huge and just amazing. I would 100% recommend this hotel.

Stayed for three nights and had a fantastic time. Everything was absolutely spot on. Upon arrival, the two people on reception were absolutely lovely and welcoming. The room was nice, comfy and had a lot of character. I seldom have a good nights' sleep when I stay away from home but I slept like a log all three nights. Breakfast was nice on each occasion and all the staff were very helpful. A nice location, a lovely view of the Isle of Wight from the lounge area too! If I'm ever in the area again, I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely, will stay again!
I have a minimum 4 star requirement so i was a bit skeptical but the reviews were all so good and so accurate...staff was incredibly friendly, giant rooms, dog friendly and great food for both dinner and breakfast. Location is fantastic and the garden and terrace were so lovely. Rainy day? No problem, the library lounge is lovely for a drink.

Hotel is a fabulous property and has a felling from another era. Staff are helpful and friendly and service was great. Rooms were clean and everywhere felt well kept. We only had one issue and that was with the bed mattress as it was a wire sprung mattress and felt very uncomfortable to us as we prefer modern hybrid mattresses. This would not stop us from staying here again as everything else was great.

Very happy ❤️
We daughter and I stayed for our joint birthday. Before we came I spoke to a lovely young lady called Ellen. She went above and beyond to help me surprise my daughter. Even called me to talk through a few things. When we arrived, lovely Stuart greeted us ☺️ Very chilled, happy and approachable. We stayed in the cottage and is was spotless and well furnished. The bed was so comfortable….and I’m fussy with beds 😂 It’s also very dog friendly. We will definitely be back ❤️

2/10 Poor

Our room was lovely. The staff dress in t-shirt and jeans even in the evenings. Food expensive and overrated- the salad served with the sirloin steak was a pile of watercress and a bit of shallot. The waiter leaned across me to serve my partner. We wanted a breakdown of our food and drink charges and it’s not been received yet. Service charge added to your bill but they don’t give you a copy on check out, they say they will email it but don’t.
