One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The Mitsui Garden Sanjo Premier in Kyoto was spotless—everything was extremely clean and smelled amazing from the moment we walked in. The rooms were spacious, well-appointed, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were incredibly attentive, polite, and respectful—top-notch service throughout. The hotel is located right in the heart of Kyoto, making it easy to walk to nearby shops, restaurants, and attractions. I’ll definitely be staying here again the next time I visit Kyoto. We arrived in the rain and were soaked and they took great care of us and offered towels to dry off while check in was in progress. My only negative about this hotel was the breakfast. Very uninspiring and lacked some basic options. Random salad items, hash browns, cheeses - just an uncohesive mix. It’s also quite expensive so I was hoping for more. We only had it the one morning and went out for other meals. Overall tho, it was a great stay.
