Fængsleende små værelser i Ålborg

Standard på Commandore class er under middel i forhold til Cabinn andre hotellet i Danmark. Vi har brugt Cabinn Vejle igennem mange år til stor glæde og tilfredshed. Kan ikke anbefale hotellet i Ålborg. Vi kommer ikke igen.

- Alt for lille et værelse med en alt for stor havestol, som lignede noget, man havde fundet til storskrald. - Der var støvsamlinger i vægsamlinger og hjørner – især ved badeværelsesdøren. - Badeværelset var ikke ordentligt rengjort; der lå hår fra tidligere gæster (lange, sorte hår). - Brusehovedet var kalket til, så det sprøjtede til alle sider, når man brugte det. - Kl. 9 om morgenen begyndte hotellets håndværkere at bore og hamre, så man ikke kunne tænke. Det var SÅ højt, at jeg ikke kunne være på værelset. Man kunne vel forestille sig, at den slags arbejde blev udført efter check-ud-tid. Flere gæster, som jeg mødte på gangen, var lige så forvirrede og frustrerede over den samme larm. NOT cool!! - Morgenmadsbuffeten var super skrabet og kedelig. Kaffen var sur og halvlunken. Jeg vil ALDRIG booke et ophold hos CABINN igen. Det mindede om et nedslidt ét-stjernet hotel i et u-land. En sørgelig oplevelse for en hotelkæde. Det var tydeligt, at værelset var gammelt, slidt og ikke særlig velholdt. Lobbyen, som man kan se fra gaden, fremstår ellers pæn og indbydende – ærgerligt, at det samme ikke gør sig gældende for værelserne. Prisen for et værelse på konkurrerende hoteller i samme område var egentlig ikke meget højere, men standarden hos f.eks. Scandic og Phønix (lige om hjørnet) var til gengæld milevidt bedre. Havde jeg betalt 150 kr. pr. nat, havde det været okay i forhold til prisen – men ikke til den nuværende.

Meget små værelser, og toiletterne er som i en campingvogn. Dog pænt og rent, samt ok senge. Fint nok til en nat eller 2, men ikke mere end det.
