Good location and decent price. The only thing missing was an AC, but I wasn’t that hot yet.

Unpleasant staff.
Staff wasn’t approachable, when we checked in, we were given a room with two single beds. However booking was for two people with double bed. A small nuance, but still. When spoken to the staff, they literally said ,-“ you have beds, what’s the issue?” Overall hotel is nice, but the service isn’t. We ordered a breakfast on our last day, which was a bit pricy. €10 per person.

Not again
Nice room, but window facing to the backyard, where's the restaurant's terrance. It was really noisy with lot of people and noise continue to very late at night. There is nothing you can do about it and lot of room's face there. Also not very good bed, awful pillow, one long one for two person.

Caution no Air Conditioning in "Winter Months
The hotel itself was fine. The furnishings were outdated, but the room was clean and large. The biggest problem was that there was no air conditioning and the room was hot. When we asked we were told that the air conditioning is not turned on in the winter. It was over 80 degrees in February so we had to leave the window open. The noise from outside was very loud and you could not sleep. One of the reasons we booked this hotel was because it said there was air conditioning. Because of this I would not stay there again.

Great location short walk to the cathedral. The hotel has car-park - big bonus. Staff friendly and helpful.

2/10 Poor

First ever hotel i saw where even white linens are not used, not sure if if other linens / extra blankets are washed / dry cleaned every time. Squeaky headboard which would knock against wall with little movement in bed. You get hot air no matter if your setting is on cold or hot (mid Nov). If we opened up window for getting some cold air, there are people talking very loud in the courtyard until 1am.

Small bed, dirty, old "hotel", unfriendly staff
Didn't feel as disappointing as living in this so called "hotel". The bed is so small which we can't even sleep with enough space. No window. Old and dirty room. Unfriendly staff, poker faced. NO good service at all. It ruined our mood. Never choose this one even it is relatively cheap.

Breakfast not good
A definite 3 star hotel - adequate but don't bother with the breakfast - looked almost inedible and little choice, so we walked away.

Too highly priced f
I admit it was NEW year’s Eve so prices might have fairly been upped but for what we got it was very overpriced . Very basic room overlooking the road ( with roadworks) . Staff not very informative given it was NYE and we had no idea where to go or what to do . We ended up having a wonderful time after being informed by a tapas waiter in the pretty town that everyone heads to the town square for midnight . The entire town of restaurants etc though was closed from about 5pm , something the hotel could have told us . Hotel had pretty garden and pool so nicer in summer and a reasonable walk to the town which we enjoyed . Overall the stay was fantastic but if the hotel was half the price and the staff were informative , the rating would be good .

Good location, hotel is little worn. When we first arrived we were told we had no reservation, I showed the booking reference and eventually the receptionist found something. However, I have since been charged twice on my Visa card. Awaiting a response from the hotel. The car park was a useful addition.

Location
Although the location is OK, it is a box standard hotel. Not sure how it would be rated a 3 star, its was more like a 2 star if that. The hotel staff wer ok although I'm glad I only stayed one night. Please please beware of EXPEDIA. We had issues (just like other reviews) 're the type of room. We booked for 3 adults, and when we got there, they said the booking was for 2 adults and one child and we would need to pay extra and on top of that we would need to pay for breakfast too (although the paper work had conflicting info) they wer good enough to agree it was the fault of Expedia and that they would take it up with them. Pls pls check your paper work before going as alot of other reviews suggest they also had similar issues.

Decent place to stay
We chose this hotel for a bit of R+R after several days traveling and it was brilliant for that. Very quiet, decent pool, good food and not too far away from the sights. The No3 bus brought us almost to the door from the bus station. The reception staff were very helpful when we had problems with our onward travel bookings, telephoning them and explaining what we needed to do. They were the star of the show.

This room had a nice bathroom but the room was very small (three beds crammed into one room, didn't look like the pictures). We also found blood on one of the pillows which was very unsettling! Far from city center.

One day visit to Cordoba
Upon arrival to cordoba at the late of night and after a long drive, we were easily checked into the hotel and promptly given access to free wifi. We noticed immediately that there was no parking for the hotel and after parking far away the trek through the winter night wasn't exactly pleasant. Moving into our room was easy enough as the elevator and stairs were easily accessible. We found the rooms nothing exciting but their willingness to add an extra bed and bring extra blankets was pleasing. Furthermore, when we woke up and wanted to visit the sites of Cordoba, we found that the hotel, although slightly rustic, was easily within walking distance from all majors sites, restaurants, and views.

Family compression
1. No person speaking English on arrival 2. Parking place - ok, but the price should given before not after 3. You probably knew about data/image compression. The hotell invented family compression - rather small double room can be arrange for four persons - no space to move, leave baggage, put cloths, ... Unfortunately our room had windows from street so no chance to open it because of noise 4. Swiming pool nice but really small - fine for one family. Fortunately only few persons wanted to use it. 5. Rather far from the center - about 2 km The worst hotel from six we visited during our trip in Andalusia

One night in Averroes Hotel
Nice place, 10 min walking distance from the center. Clean room, good value for the money and for one night. The receptionist in the night shift was a bit rude when we asked about breakfast saying it was not included, although it was on the reservation. In the morning the girls sais everything is fine with the breakfast, only a small misunderstanding. I recommend this place overall.

Reasonably priced 1-star hotel (but 3?!)
Not a horrible place by any means, and a pretty good location on the edge of the old city. Wit parking (10 euros per day extra). But having chosen the place on the basis of its three stars, we were surprised to be handed our remote control at the front desk by a very gruff staff member, and to find our room to be in need of modern refurbishment and some kind of loving touch. It was actually quite smelly. Lobby furnishings were tired, wifi only in the main lobby, just well short of what I would expect from even a two-star hotel. So whoever deals out the stars, please review this assessment! Otherwise though, probably just about decent value for the price we paid. If I had it to do over again I suppose I would try to be closer to the Juderia side of the old town, and would be prepared to spend more for a nicer place.

Stayed June 2013
The hotel has an outdoor pool, which seems nice. The place is a typical, dated, Spanish hotel, with smallish rooms. Beds weren't very comfortable. There was a nice breakfast buffet. It is a bit of a walk to the Mezquita from here, but we did it. You can walk to restaurants, etc. easily. Nice parking garage available.

Not at all like the picture
This was by far the worst hotel we stayed in during our 10 day visit to Spain. It looked nothing at all like the photos and the staff--less than helpful. Although it could be a wonderful hotel since it is in a prime location. It sits directly across from a homeless shelter and the decor and comfort of the room was sub-standard. It felt more like a hostel or a rent by the hour room then a 3-star hotel.
