Nice short weekend away.
Electric charging points weren't working. Don't think they have been everytime we have been. Food was excellent. Saturday evening service was very slow though..Waited 60 minutes for our food. I apreciate they were busy but 60 minutes for a burger and gammon was a bit excessive. Have stayed here a number of times. Lovely place. Will stop again.

Overall the experience was good BUT there is NO lift AND there is plenty of room for one to be installed. The stairs are awkward with luggage.

Lovely last minute trip!
Hotel is in a lovely location. We were able to join the Cotswold Way from the grounds of the hotel to go for a walk which had stunning views! The hotel room is clean, comfy and quite spacious. I would say it is a little tired in places however it hasn't spoilt our trip! We ate in the restaurant on Sunday evening and the food was delicious! Overall, a very enjoyable trip!

The actual hotel is idyllically situated in a gorgoues cotswold village location, the venue offers a lovely bar and dining experience as well as a more formal dining room ... and that for us is where the loveliness began and ended. With the cost of things the way they are in this current day, we accept that nothing is cheap anymore and at best, trying to get value for your money is a struggle to say the least. So, we paid our £120 for a double room (Not inc breakfast) and whilst the rooms was okay, it was certainly in need for some TLC to say the least. To fair, it was clean(ish) and the bed was comfortable but again, thats where the good ends. The decor is beyond tired, the bathroom was really shabby (indluding a dented bin and a horrible plastic wall mounted hand pump), the bedding and furnishing is in great need of replacing and the television and remote (that was held together with sellotape) simply needs removing, binning & replacing. Our overall stay was nice enough but I'd rather have paid a little more and recieved a little more. I guess it just about does what it says on the tin. How ever, marketing as a wedding venue is questionable... when spending any money these days you really do want to feel the guest is the priority. We dined in the bar, we found the menu & food to be lovely, the staff were all super too ... a shame that despite several requests from other guests previously that they don't offer a cheese board dessert option but other than that, a really de

Disappointed
Overall, the condition of the accommodate is tired and is of need redecoration. The bathroom was clean but the shower head was inappropriate for female guests and the bath tape dropped all night. The restaurant was was in poor set of repair, the tables were damaged and not well cleaned. Cutlery was in a used state with only one size for all courses!

The hotel room was lovely, we had a family room and was so spacious and clean. It was very warm in the room due to the 30degree weather and there was a nice suprise of a fan in the room! We will definitely be staying again.

Clean but pricy and in need of modernisation
Bed was comfy and room clean and quiet but decor and bathroom fittings quite dated and would benefit from a refurb to bring up to modern standard. Room pricy for the overall quality.

Excellent Visit - just needs a phone connection.
Once we were in the hotel everything was very good with no real complaints except that a breakfast earlier than 8am would have been much appreciated to facilitate a days walking ahead of us. The hotel was exceptionally clean and tidy and the reception staff were very helpful and friendly. What would have been really good would be the ability to communicate with these outstanding professionals in person, at the booking and confirmation stage. Having to navigate the online system that did not (seemingly) enable me to book breakfast with our bed and have to book an evening meal via another website in some sort of Krypton Factor test that left me in need of another weekend break but alas, too exhausted to book! The inability to easily confirm our booking (in a 30 second phone call say) meant that there was a anxiety-laden anticipation of whether we had a room for the night right up until the moment we engaged with the Reception Manager. Overall, we had lovely and highly recommendable stay. Thank you very much. PS. It's good to talk!
