Learn more about Ksamil
Turquoise waters lap against four tiny islands just offshore, creating swimming spots so clear you'll see fish darting between your toes. Bring snorkelling gear to explore underwater landscapes that rival any aquarium. The ancient ruins of Butrint National Park tell stories spanning millennia, where crumbling Roman theatres and Byzantine baptisteries emerge from lush vegetation. Local restaurants serve fresh seafood caught hours earlier, often accompanied by Albanian raki that locals insist aids digestion. Between swims, hike coastal paths offering views across to Corfu. The beaches fill with Albanian families on summer weekends, creating a festive atmosphere where impromptu volleyball games welcome newcomers. Visit in September when crowds thin but the sea remains blissfully warm.

L'Amo del Mare Hotel
"The room was always spotless, as we're the common areas. All of the staff were very friendly. You cannot find a better location to both beaches and restaurants/bars. The roof pool area was clean, but it would be better to define one of the two pools as adults only. Breakfast was included and fairly decent, but incredibly repetitive."
Veranda Hotel by Mirage
"We had such a great stay at the Veranda Hotel by Mirage. My friend and I felt like the hotel staff was just incredible (shoutout to Vea and Venus). They always went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time (so did most of the staff) and always laughed at our misfortunes with us. The breakfast was great as you could order from the menu for the breakfast included. Bed was comfortable (I just wish they had options for 2 twins instead of one king), but that’s our only complaint!"
Sondor Hotel
"This family run hotel is immaculate and met with the same level of impeccable staff who cannot do enough for you. Hotel is located ideally for a more peaceful holiday yet extremely close to all the Beach Bars. Highly recommend staying here 5⭐️"
Hotel Luxury
"Lovely clean hotel - lovely breakfast lovely rooms"
Zurich Hotel
"A nice central location and a very clean place. Would definitely recommend"
Nobbu Hotel Ksamil
"The staff was VERY friendly. The room was clean and had a nice view. It was also quiet. The breakfast was great and the beach towels provided were super helpful. It was a great place to stay."
Hotel Heksamil
"The hotel is nice and staff is friendly. You get what you paid. The breakfast was ok nothing special and what bothered me a bit is the fact that they gave not option for you to buy beverages on card. They only want / accept cash . Which is ashamed because I could have spent way more money on the hotel that way and I went somewhere to buy cold and hot drinks."
Ori Mare Hotel
"This hotel was a dream for us. Everything was perfect. The staff were so nice and kind, every single one of them. Because we spent a lot of time by the pool we had plenty of good chats with David who was always attentive, thoughtful and positive. We got an upgrade to our room and witnessed a magnificent sunset over the sea from our room. The room was massive, spotless clean with modern facilities and everything you wish from a hotel. The hotel pools saved our trip to Ksamil because the beaches were overwhelmed with beach bars, and we found it slightly difficult to relax by the beach. On the other hand we had so much fun by the pool on the hot days. The hotel is few minutes up the hill but very central and on average 10 mins walk to the Hand of Ksamil, Bora Bora beach, Ksamil 7, bus stop to Sarandë, city centre supermarkets etc. The breakfast is fresh, delicious, with plenty of options to choose from and the ladies who cook it are the sweetest. When we left early the next day the hotel staff even packed something for us to take away because we had to leave before breakfast time. A hotel that truly deserves its 4 stars."
Hotel Belle Vue
"On arrival, we were told that our room wasn’t available. However, the team had been expecting us and had already arranged accommodation for our first night at a property right next door. We didn’t ask about the circumstances, but we were very impressed with how the situation was handled. Everything was explained clearly, and we were made to feel welcome despite the unexpected change. The hotel has a wonderfully laid-back atmosphere in a very positive way. The staff are friendly, approachable and more than happy to help with any requests, which made our stay feel very relaxed and enjoyable. Overall, we were really happy with our experience and would happily stay here again. I really enjoyed the coffee at Breakfast time."

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Ksamil
- Book for the cheapest times: The most affordable time to visit Ksamil is during January, April, and November, when hotel prices are lower. For a budget-friendly getaway, staying for at least 4 to 5 days is recommended to fully appreciate the town's historical landmarks and cultural sites. This duration allows visitors to explore the rich history and significant attractions that Ksamil has to offer, making it great value for money, especially for those on a budget. Additionally, prices for accommodations might drop during these months, making it an even more appealing option for travellers.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To discover last-minute deals for accommodation in Ksamil, visit the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute Deals sections on Hotels.com, where you may find discounted hotel rates as your travel date approaches. To stay informed about potential savings, consider enabling email alerts or push notifications for flash sales and special promotions. The Smart Shopping tool available via the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, helping you make informed choices. By keeping an eye on price drops and availability, you're more likely to seize opportunities for a budget-friendly getaway.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates might help you save on your stay at a hotel in Ksamil. If you're in search of something distinctive, boutique hotels can provide a more personalised experience and potentially better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we'll inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price seems to be on the higher side, we’ll suggest more budget-friendly dates to increase your chances of securing the best deal.
- Consider your location: Staying closer to key attractions or city centres can offer convenience, but it usually tends to come with higher costs. For more affordable options, consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between price and ease of access to the sites you wish to visit. You might also look into independent hotels a bit further out, which can provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
