A little disappointing
We booked a twin room but none available, but was given a suite for the last night. The first room had plumbing issues, could not control the hot water! and the shower fitting was broken. A noisey building site next door. Mouldy fruit in the room. Breakfast was not a buffet, the staff had never heard of cereal (cornflakes), only one dish allowed together with only one drink. This is strange as the minibar was refilled daily at no charge. We had to sit for breakfast overlooking the Saigon River which would have been great but for the rubbish. They should invest in a permanent barrier to stop this. We got the impression that they would cater more for their outside guests rather than residents.

Charming hotel, friendly staff, but be pre pared to pay for all extra things such as coffee refill for breakfast. And prices are sky high. Last order at restaurant was at 1900, when coming 1904 the restaurant was closed. Will recommend the hotel, but do find an alternative to restaurant.

Just beautiful
This is a stunning hotel in a beautiful location on the Saigon river with a river taxi to take you into The centre of the city. Sadly does not run after 7pm but taxis are inexpensive. The food is excellent and rooms beautiful, as is the pool. Our only downside, which is no fault of the hotel was noise from building work opposite. Staff, especially the reception staff incredibly helpful. I would definitely recommend for anyone seeking an exclusive, luxury stay away from the big hotels

Better options in Thao Dien than this
Do not stay here. Better options in Thao Dien now. Have put all our clients in this hotel for the better part of a year. We had paid 5.5 nights but had to reschedule which the hotel agreed to by giving us 4 nights. The hotel offered us to stay until December. When we tried to book in November, they have rescinded the free night saying it was good only until October. Do yourself a favor and book somewhere else like the Mia Saigon which is 1/3 of the price with better views and service.
