Stay over in Hardin MT
The staff was accommodating. We needed a place to stay while on our way to Rapid City. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. They offered a breakfast sandwich in the morning. The location was convenient.

The staff was great and made sure we had what we needed. They’ve just started offering breakfast, which was a nice touch. The location is super convenient, right across from McDonald’s. Overall, it was a great stay!

I guess I have been having bad luck. This is the 2nd place I stayed in a weeks time that was horrible. Since I am not traveling with my wife, I can afford to lower the bar but this was way below even my standards. First off the overall condition of the property was pretty bad It seemed run down in general. The door looked like someone had kicked it in at one point and there wasn’t a secondary lock (broken off and not fixed). The shower appeared to be dirty but it looked like someone did a homemade coating on it which was peeling up giving it the impression it was filthy. The hardwood looking vinyl floor was sticky and dirty to the point when I got in bed the dirt came off on the white sheets. The water was low pressure and took about 10 minutes to heat up. The a/c made a horrible noise and I think it was sucking in outside bugs. Within 10 minutes there were numerous moths and flies in the room which I had to spend time swatting with the supplied swatter hanging on the wall. If they weren’t coming in that way I have no idea where they were coming from. I think this is a stop over for ranchers because in the very early morning hours numerous diesel pickups were warming their engines for long periods of time which kept me from getting a good nights sleep. I wasn’t impressed with the surrounding eating establishments. Only a few fast food places to choose from. Should have just camped at a KOA. Expedia shows this place at being “WONDERFUL 9.0”. NO WAY!!!

Easy stop on my way from MT to CO. Staff was very friendly and gave thorough details about our stay. Others mention that the place is older with updates but i anticipated that. Everything worked great and room was clean!!
Price point on Expedia and previous reviews set good expectations that were exceeded once I arrived.

The staffs were very friendly. Room was clean and tidy. The lobby has a lot of history decoration and great book selection for people who want to learn Native American history. Breakfast was a frozen sandwich and coffee. There are walkable restaurant with decent google review, but we didn’t get a chance to go. Very easy parking. The fridge is the small one so as the ice maker. It can be a little tough if you travel with lot of cold food, but you can always just go to a gas station to get more ice to put in the cooler. Overall, I enjoyed my stay there and would recommend this place.

It ran about $120 dollars which I thought was on the higher side for mid week in a small town. The front desk lady was nice. The rooms look like they have been at least painted and it was clean. It’s just worn down and a previous Super 8. If it was under $100 I would have probably given it a 5 Star because of the the price.
