Comfortable and relax stay in Kalabaka!
My family and I had a lovely stay in Kalabaka. The room was clean and spacious with a beautiful view of Meteora. The bed was comfortable. We arrived in the hotel slightly earlier than the check-in time and was able to check-in right away, the receptionist kindly stored our luggages for us after checking out too. Totally recommend staying here! 10 out of 10!

Fantastic location almost at top of the town very clise to trailhead for Holy Trinity monastery. Walk down to town squares is maybe 10 minutes. A 9 euro Breakfast was ok with plentiful selections to fill ip before a day of climbing thousands of steps and walking paths to monasteries. Coffee could definitely be stronger. Rooms are beautifully appointed snd decorated. Cheerful and welcoming family runs this little gem.

A 10 minute walk to the the town square where you can get to tons of restaurants, coffee, shops. A 10 minute walk in the opposite direction to get to the hike that leads you to the monastery. Beds are comfortable, small patio to sit outside and have a coffee while enjoying the spectacular view. Staff is incredibly kind and helpful. internet, Absolutely loved this place.

Quaint little hotel
Alsos House is a quaint little hotel with the vibe of a B&B located at the foot of the towering rocks atop which, rests the world famous monasteries. The rooms are well appointed, clean, comfortable and decorated in a classy last century fashion. The town of Kalabaka is perfect if you are looking for a quiet getaway from the hustle bustle of city life. The hotel is managed by a local family who will take excellent care of you! I will go back there in a heartbeat.

Great hotel, but lots of loud children
The hotel and staff are great, but the hotel was much too noisy for us. Lots of screaming and yelling kids until fairly late at night. If we would have known, we would have booked somewhere else. If you are traveling with kids, this is a great place. There is even a playground adjacent to the hotel. If you want some peace and quiet, don’t stay at the hotel next to the playground…
