Falkensteiner Hotel Bozen WaltherPark
"The room was clean and spacious. We only stayed for one night on our way to the dolomites. Staff were ok not friendly nor rude. The only thing i have to say is that the breakfast buffet was full of bugs I couldn’t eat anything. Nothing had a cover flies everywhere."
Artnatur Dolomites
"Excelent breakfast and really clean rooms. If you come by car parking is not assured. We got parking the second day of our stay."
Residence Villa Hedy
"Great location, a short walk from the town centre and the excellent Merano therm baths (the pool photo in the pictures with the property). The room was really nice with AC, it was large and well equipped. There is a pretty patio on the roof. With nice views of the mountains. The parking onsite is really useful but quite expensive. A lovely place."
Stadt Hotel Citta
"Location was very close to the train station and walking in the Neighbourhood in the evening was nice. Fabulous breakfast with wonderful seating inside and out and always great to have a physical newspaper to read. I would stay here again"
Hotel Adria
"We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Merano and Hotel Adria. Would have preferred if the rooms had AC but otherwise it was fantastic."
Villa Bavaria
"This property lives up to all the online photos. It was absolutely lovely, beautiful breakfast, fast to the old town (once we worked out to walk over the old bridge). Staff were fantastic. Gorgeous place. Would definitely stay again."
Mirabell Alpine Garden Resort
"We had a great stay at the Mirabel. Nice rooms, great breakfast and dinner. Ideal location for hiking the Seiser Alm and surroundings. Thanks for taking care of us."
Hotel Ansitz Plantiz
"It was beautiful"
ImperialArt
"This boutique hotel is central to everything. The staff was absolutely wonderful! I ended up adding a night so I got to experience a couple of different rooms. Both of which were on the front side and absolutely lovely. Personally, I liked the first room. I had a little bit more, although it was the more basic room, the second room I had was on the third floor, and it definitely felt a lot more private, was quite a bit larger, had a great balcony, and a lovely view of the mountains. I definitely would consider staying again."

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Merano
- Book for the cheapest times: The most budget-friendly time to visit Merano is in January, March, and November, when hotel prices are lower. To truly appreciate the city’s landmarks and cultural heritage, staying for at least 3 to 4 days is recommended. During your visit, you can explore a variety of attractions, including museums, historical monuments, art galleries, and beautiful churches. Don’t miss the chance to enjoy the natural parks and the scenic river, which offer great value for money in terms of experiences. If you plan wisely, prices may drop, making your trip even more affordable.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To discover last-minute deals to Merano, check out the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute Deals sections on Hotels.com, where you may find discounted rates on accommodation as your travel date approaches. Enabling email alerts or push notifications can keep you informed about flash sales and special promotions, helping you secure the best hotel deal. Additionally, the Smart Shopping tool available via the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, so if prices drop or new rooms become available, you're more likely to see those updates first and book your last-minute getaway.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate due to factors like the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates might help you save on your stay in Merano. For those seeking a distinctive experience, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised touch and, at times, better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we’ll inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price is on the higher side, we’ll suggest alternative dates that may offer more affordable options, increasing the likelihood that you'll find a better deal.
- Consider your location: Hotels near the city centre usually tend to be pricier, but with Merano's fantastic public transport options, you might discover a more affordable independent hotel a bit further out that still has good connections. For those keen to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, you can often find excellent value for money. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
