Perfect stay!

Had an amazing stay at Mantra in April - staff were incredible across the board. So helpful and kind. The location can’t be beat and the rooftop pool and bar are beautiful. Rooms are very comfortable, clean, and spacious. Looking forward to returning one day soon!

The hotel was great, it was clean and the staff were friendly. It was my boyfriend’s birthday and they decorated the room with a birthday banner and some complimentary chocolates, which was a nice gesture. The pool and rooftop bar were great. The hotel is also located walking distance from the beach and all the restaurants, so we did not have to rent a car during our stay. I would definitely return to this boutique hotel.

Absolutely beautiful and affordable place to stay in Puerto Escondido. One of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. Very kind and helpful staff. Refreshing pool on the rooftop with a bar. Highly recommended!!!

Not the comfort we were expecting

Staff was friendly and room was nicely furnished and decorated but we had no hot water at anytime of day. So no relaxing showers, didn’t want to shave, etc. And there was loud construction, hammering, drilling directly above us during the day. So an afternoon siesta was not possible.

Pues todo iba hasta que llegó el huracán Erick que cuando hablé por teléfono antes de reservar la srita de recepción Alejandra no me adivirtio de la tormenta si no hubiera cancelado se fue la luz un día completo luego regresó y se volvió a ir la luz no fue una buena experiencia no había señal de celular durante 2 días completos

Can't wait to come back!

Stayed here for two nights after staying in a hostel - I would highly, highly, highly recommend booking here if you are looking to stay in La Punta. It is close enough to the main road that you can get to everything easily, but far away enough that you don't get the noise. It's also so close to the beach that you can easily run back and forth if needed (watch the sunset from the beach or rooftop here, not further down south where it's crowded). The hotel itself is so aesthetically beautiful - the pictures don't do justice. However, the absolute best part of this place is the service - the staff here is EXCEPTIONAL! They went out of their way to make sure my time in Puerto was comfortable (even when I wasn't staying there!). I feel so spoiled after being here - can't wait to come back!!
