I regret to say that my recent stay did not meet expectations. The cleanliness of the room, especially the bed and mattress which was sloping to one side, was lacking, which made for an uncomfortable experience. Broken towel rails and dilapidated bath separators could have been looked into. Additionally, there was considerable noise from both neighbours rs and ongoing refurbishment work, with loud drilling continuing well past 10:45 PM. I even felt the need to document the noise as evidence including photo of refurbishment materials kept lying on the hallway floor.
The condition of the room and bathroom also left much to be desired, with details such as the absence of milk for tea and sugar stored loosely in an open bowl standing out. Unfortunately, these issues led me to check out earlier than planned.
I have yet to receive a refund and have had significant difficulty connecting with customer service. Furthermore, one individual on-site, whom I believe to be the owner, displayed an unprofessional attitude and was seen double-parking, blocking guest parking spaces.
The only positive experience was the boys at the hotel offering to help whenever asked although many of these matters should have been dealt before guests’ arrival.
I hope these concerns will be addressed to enhance future guest experiences
