Baroque splendour unfolds throughout Europe's sunniest capital, with honey-colored limestone buildings concealing treasures behind ornate facades. "This hotel is in a prime location for exploring Valetta. The beds are comfortable and the shower is really good. The complementary breakfast was a nice touch to start the day and it was relaxing sitting on the roof top to partake in the breakfast."
"We loved our stay in this hotel and felt like 5* did not do it justice ! The room was spacious and looked amazing. Staff were very helpful and welcoming. There was plenty of choice for breakfast. It was located at the heart of Valletta yet slightly away from the busiest streets that were noisier so was very peaceful. We enjoyed having the lounge area as an extra place to relax away from the room. We retuned for an extra night and had a slightly smaller room, the only downside with that room was having stairs down to the toilet. We were nearly put off booking this hotel by the reviews commenting on the steps - the reality is that much of Valletta is hilly with slopes or steps. Going down to Lascaris Wharf there were only about 50 steps and it took about five minutes to reach the ferry. There are only about ten rooms."
"The room was very clean and large size. Staff was very helpful and nice. In fact, on the early morning (4am) that we had to leave, our taxi refused to drive up to the hotel to Leonid (the front staff at the time) helped wheel our luggage out to the city center and hailed a taxi for us. He was incredibly helpful. Breakfast is excellent and I highly recommend this property. It is conveniently located and very nice indeed!"
"The hotel is very centrally located. It was also a few minutes walk to the Valletta bus terminal. Self-check in was a breeze. The staff was very, very helpful. The room was always clean. There were many souvenir stores which was a PLUS. Breakfast was good (nothing over the top) which was fine with me. It was a great start to the day without having to worry what to have for breakfast. The only thing about King Charles hotel was the music playing in the evening as there were several pubs that play live music. It was only for about 4hrs (10pm to 2am) so it didn’t bother me that much. Overall I will still come back to this hotel. 👍🤗"
"Very good position in Valletta center, very professional staff but not sure on Erasmus students manning front desk whilst alone.
Unfortunately the main entrance facing an alleyway with restaurants bins."
