The concept is great and the facilities are good however the restaurant is really bad. Breakfast buffet is quite ok but the rest really isn’t good. Most staff members seem to be student, they’re very helpful and friendly but need to be coached by professionals to improve their customer service skills. The kids loved the playground and the other activities available so we will certainly come back. There should be towels made available at the swimming pool for hotel residents.

Zoveel te ontdekken bij HUP, super weekend

Heel leuk weekend gehad bij HUP, de kinderen vonden het geweldig en konden niet kiezen wat ze allemaal wilden ontdekken. Het zwembad, voetbalcourt en Monkeytown waren favoriet, maar de bioscoop voor na het eten en de Lego plus glijbaan in de receptie waren ook winners! De familiekamer met slaapbank is wat krap voor onze kinderen, ik zou zeggen max 8 jaar aangezien het een heel smalle slaapbank is. Vriendelijk ontvangst en lekker eten in het restaurant, de desserts uitgesloten - die zou ik overslaan (kwaliteit niet in verhouding tot de voor- en hoofdgerechten).

We were disappointed about this hotel. Among the hotels that we’ve stayed all over the world, this hotel is the worst one. Sorry for being direct! The facilities of this hotels lacked of proper maintenance. The services provided by its staff were very poor. For example, the front desk staff told us that “all amenities have to be booked”. Yet, the truth is that we only need to queue up but no need to book. Another incident was that our room was not cleaned up during our stay. After reminding the front desk staff, we waited for an hour for house-keeping. When we chased again, the front desk replied that they forgot which room no. has made the request 😵‍💫.
