Property was well-located, both in terms of proximity to Metro (just 1 stop away from train station) and main sites of Brescia (notably the Giulia Museum and the adjacent Roman temple/theater/forum. Somewhat disappointing as a hotel. Overall, the hotel was tired and needed sprucing up. Room was decent sized but bed was hard (mattress thin) and bathroom just OK -- by the end of a fairly short shower I was ankle deep in water. WiFi connection was uneven -- had a number of Zoom calls dropped because of insufficient bandwidth (although worked better later in the day).

The property was a bit dated, but elegant and spacious. The location is wonderful, couldn't be better. The wifi is very slow and needs updating. That was a problem. Also, the mattress was extremely hard. Felt like sleeping on a rock. A good pillow top cover for the existing mattress might help.

Grand location
The hotel is a beautiful art deco building. The lobby is Grand and the staff, excellent. I was in my room in minutes. The room was great and the bathroom was a good size comparatively. The location of the hotel, couldn’t have been better, right in the middle of town and a few minutes walk from everything you want to see.

My partner stayed at the hotel from the 28th until the 30th of July 2023. The staff were excellent from the first minute we walked in through the door. The roads were closed. I could not get to the hotel. I was told to go to a parking lot and walk to the hotel. I asked a policeman also. He was helpful but said it was very difficult. My navigation did not show the road work. I drove around for one hour. I called the hotel but since there are gew street signs I couldn't tell her where I was exactly. She was very nice but I was very frustrated. I said I was leaving and driving back home. I had prepaid so this was not a satisfactory solution for me.
