the air conditioning worked which was a god send at the time of the my trip. the room was extremely small but that's how it goes in that part of town. wasn't able to try the restaurant and there wasn't any room service, but there are relatively good restaurants across the street and around the corner that are open late. the front desk person was always nice.

There is a reason this hotel has excellent reviews! My daughter and I arrived very early and were exhausted after our red eye flight. We knew a room would likely not be available until after 1:00pm but asked if there was a chance we could check in early. They didn’t have a room available but said they should have a room in an hour or so. We went to the very cute breakfast area and grabbed a coffee while we waited and by 11:30 they had a room ready and upgraded us (I think they took pity on us because we looked exhausted!) The room was clean and the pillows and bed were very comfortable. Staff is lovely and accommodating and it’s in a nice location if you want to shop the Champs area.
