A great place for an overnight stop. The room was basic but very clean which is all we wanted. There is a restaurant next door to the hotel where we enjoyed an evening meal. The staff were very friendly.

This was a place to stay the night. It fit that bill. It was a simple room with shower room en suite.
Quite dated, but adequate to our needs.

Room was cramped. Bedding and towels were clean but floor was dusty. Only 2 electrical sockets. A S Hotel nextdoor looked much better. We ate in their restaurant which was pleasant and food was good!

My french trip
Hotel is worth a stop over food was delicious and a wide choice hotel.com stated that there was air conditioning in the rooms but on arrival after a 5 hour drive in hot weather to be told no air conditioning and there has never been disappointed

Could be better
Th réservation was confirmed as a room with two single beds, not preferred but confirmed. We were given a room with a double bed and when I queried it I was told there was nothing else available.
Two mini sachets of shower gel/shampoo were provided, but that was all, no soap. So after a shower there was no soap to wash hands. The hotel is close to a very busy road, very noisy all night.
The room was clean and spacious.

A convenient stop off
Really convenient location for driving to the south of France. Room was comfy, not too hot (it didn’t have air con), clean, quiet and bathroom was just what was required. Breakfast was lovely. There was a public outdoor pool a 10min wall away which proved handy as we travelled with children.

Room for family of five at decent price -Bare bone
Excellent price considering we needed a room for family of 5. Clean and modern but as small as possible in terms of space. The ensuit toilet/sink/shower was like a caravan type where the shower is in the same cubicle as the toilet. Tv and fan was provided and towels for everyone. Walls are paper thin so bring your ear plugs in case. There is a proper restaurant which had a wide choice and actually food I consider like a Beefeater/good standard.

Does what it says,
Good sized, clean rooms, quiet (there is a main road nearby). The bathroom is very small but functional. The breakfast is very good value. A really good budget hotel, we will use it again.

just a bit too basic
bathroom too small and shower/loo too close to each other. top bunk bed unsuitable for my big boys (even the 11 years old one) and ventilation vent blowing into top bunk bed. if room too hot, it can't be made to be cooler unless you leave the door open, which really we could not do. you can't switch on a light without starting a fan in the bathroom. no night light. no separate lights for different beds. seemed new but dated in design.

Basic but all we needed.
Stopped over for one night on our way back to catch the ferry. Handy having a restaurant on site as it was late when we arrived, and the breakfast in the morning meant that we were able to get away easily. Room basic but clean. Staff friendly.

Good for a one night stopover
Stayed on a one night stopover on a journey further south in France. The only hotel that had a 5 bed room. Good value. Basic but clean and helpful. Extremely useful having an on site restaurant doing evening meals and breakfast as there was nothing else in the area. Perfect for our needs.

Smelly hotel
It took 4 different rooms, before we had the right one with 5 beds. It was a non-smoking room, but it smelled as if the guests before us had smoked a few packages of cigarettes in the room. We were promissed free WiFi and received a password for it, but in the room was a note from the hotel that WiFi wasn't available.
The breakfast however was okay.

Cheap & clean 5 person family room
Fine for a motorway stopover on the way to Dordogne. Further from Orleans for dinner than we had planned but no big deal. Breakfast was quite good value.

Is what it says on the tin
The location is just right for an overnight stay on the way to the South of France. The hotel is situated just off the motorway with a Supermarket over the road.(ideal for breakfast and food for journey) The restaurant in the AS hotel next door serves pizza and all you can eat buffet at a reasonable price. The room was small and basic, but comfortable enough. Our room had a fridge to cool drinks. The shower is basically in the toilet but it serves it's purpose and they provided shower and hair wash and towels. Some French hotels are a lot more basic than we are used to in England but it suited our family of 5 for a good price.

Even Back Packers Beware.....
Awesome place - if you find it comforting to sleep in the same bed sheets as the last guests and love the idea of staying next door to a fertiliser factory which, although producing a permeating stench, will mask the smell of stale cigarette smoke in your room. At least the shower / toilet / metal coffin / cupboard is something to behold and when I say behold, I mean avoided.

One to avoid!
Convenient location but noisy. Room basic and dreary. Felt more tired when I left than when I arrived!
