Ray and Jules who owns and runs this BnB are fantastic hosts. Ray cooks breakfast to order. The scrambled eggs are some of the best! The room and toilets are kept in immaculate condition. Super comfy King size bed. The house is within 15 mins walk to all the local restaurants and grocery store. The house was built in 1893 and is absolutely charming.

The manor house was so beautiful with a quaint and artistic look. Very well maintained and a jolly good host. Ray was available when we reached his home and made sure settled In comfortably. He made us a yummy omelette in the morning. We also had bread, cereal, fruits and an assortment of jams. We had a chance to meet and talk to the other guests who had traveled from Sydney and the UK which was a lot of fun. Loved the stay. Would highly recommend this cute manor.

Lovely historic villa with well maintained grounds. There is a modern aircon/heatpump and ensuite attached to each comfortable guest room. Ray and Jules are very friendly and accomodating hosts and the location is superb for walking into Nelson center for restaurants etc. We enjoyed sitting and reading on the balcony in the late afternoon & evening. We will definitely be back.

Great location within 10 min walk of most of Nelson City. Excellent atmosphere made better by very friendly and attentive hosts Ray and Jules. Character historic home with the quirks of the 19th century plus the mod cons like ensuite bathrooms and r con/heat pumps.
