This is an amazing property. It is a working farms, a hobbit village, a nature preserve, a spa and a camp ground.
The valley and riverside location is beautiful and a lot of time, money and attention went into the landscaping.
The food was excellent. The restaurant was a bit slow in service one night, but they offered free drinks and deserts to compensate, so all is forgiven.
Robes and slippers in the rooms would have been an extra special touch.
The $30 US charge for the one hour use of the heated Jacuzzi seems a bit high too, but it was nice...the pools are not heated and can be cool in the early summer.
Go the House of Chocolate in the village for some great hot chocolate and treats.
The locally grown walnuts are the best!
