We stayed for 2 nights and had a spa experience. The spa was amazing and well worth the money. The hotel was clean and comfortable. We would have liked a sofa area to chill and relax, in the main hotel part. The breakfast was lovely and plenty of choice.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The spa facilities were fantastic however when we arrived we were informed it was open till 10pm. We assumed this was for the whole of the weekend stay however when we went on the 2nd day they were closing. The breakfast was amazing couldn't fault anything. The room was an executive room. The hotel is located outside town and close to the A5 road. It very quiet and has plenty of parking. The restaurant offers great food at reasonable prices. Some customers had a free bottle of wine while none was offered to us. Not clear how that works.

Great location. Very nice hotel although needs updating in areas. Staff were very friendly and helpful, nothing was to much trouble. Food in the restaurant was excellent and great service. Outdoor areas and gardens are very nice just needs some tidying up. The barge docking area was very dirty which was a shame. The spa looked lovely but did not use it this time. Overall a lovely stay.

Beautiful buildings situated in fairly remote location. Very pleasant, helpful staff, comfortable, well equipped rooms. Beds are comfy but disappointed to find its 2 singles combined as i lay in the middle and got the seams. Delicious food and well stocked bar. Plenty of staff despite hosting a wedding the evening we stayed. Would 100% recommend

Overall our stay was ok, breakfast was good staff friendly, location good and the pool was fab. Especially as you could still use it until 4pm on day of check out. What let it down for us was the cleanliness. We felt quite uncomfortable at how unclean our room was. We did ask if it to be cleaned again but still the edge of the carpet looks like it never gets cleaned. The rooms also dont have much if any soundproofing. Lots of noise being woken up by conversations in the next room at 3am on both nights of our stay.
