Learn more about Ksamil
Turquoise waters lap against four tiny islands just offshore, creating swimming spots so clear you'll see fish darting between your toes. Bring snorkelling gear to explore underwater landscapes that rival any aquarium. The ancient ruins of Butrint National Park tell stories spanning millennia, where crumbling Roman theatres and Byzantine baptisteries emerge from lush vegetation. Local restaurants serve fresh seafood caught hours earlier, often accompanied by Albanian raki that locals insist aids digestion. Between swims, hike coastal paths offering views across to Corfu. The beaches fill with Albanian families on summer weekends, creating a festive atmosphere where impromptu volleyball games welcome newcomers. Visit in September when crowds thin but the sea remains blissfully warm.

Nobbu Hotel Ksamil
"Pretty good overall, nice enough hotel, breakfast pretty good, location not bad. Staff are helpful and lend you beach towels and corkscrews when needed."
Arameras Resort
"Arameras Resort is a great choice for travellers seeking seclusion and tranquillity in Ksamil. The resort is beautifully designed with a unique paved garden layout and buggies to take guests around. The bungalow-style rooms are nestled within the gardens and feature modern décor, smart TVs, fridges and freezer compartments. The overall aesthetic is the cleanest in Ksamil. There are however areas that could be improved. For such a secluded resort, additional spa facilities such as a sauna, jacuzzi or massage treatments, along with some evening entertainment, would be a great addition. The resort has padel, tennis and basketball courts, plus a stunning infinity pool. We visited at the end of the season when daytime temperatures were 27°C but the pool was too cold to comfortably swim in. A temperature-controlled pool would allow guests to enjoy it beyond peak summer especially as the sea is also too cold outside peak season. If you’re not comfortable with reptiles, I’d recommend avoiding a garden-facing room. We had a lizard in ours which unfortunately affected our sleep. Thankfully Johnny at reception dealt with it promptly and provided excellent service. Breakfast is another area for improvement with limited vegetarian options, some stale food and flies around the display. Overall, Albania is still developing as a tourist destination, but the people are incredibly friendly and hardworking. With more investment in guest experience, Arameras has great potential."

Lans Hotel
"This was a lovely hotel. Bit of a hill to get to it and between a 5-10 minute walk to the main restaurants. 10-20 minute walk to beach, depending on which one you went to. Staff are lovely, rooms are clean. There is no food on premises after breakfast. Pool snacks would be good. Bar open until around 8pm. I think later would of been better. You can get take aways to be delivered to the hotel though. We had pizza a couple of times and it was lovely. They order that in for you. Overall was lovely, nice pool area too."
Zurich Hotel
"A nice central location and a very clean place. Would definitely recommend"
Hotel Heksamil
"The hotel is nice and staff is friendly. You get what you paid. The breakfast was ok nothing special and what bothered me a bit is the fact that they gave not option for you to buy beverages on card. They only want / accept cash . Which is ashamed because I could have spent way more money on the hotel that way and I went somewhere to buy cold and hot drinks."
Hotel Belle Vue
"On arrival, we were told that our room wasn’t available. However, the team had been expecting us and had already arranged accommodation for our first night at a property right next door. We didn’t ask about the circumstances, but we were very impressed with how the situation was handled. Everything was explained clearly, and we were made to feel welcome despite the unexpected change. The hotel has a wonderfully laid-back atmosphere in a very positive way. The staff are friendly, approachable and more than happy to help with any requests, which made our stay feel very relaxed and enjoyable. Overall, we were really happy with our experience and would happily stay here again. I really enjoyed the coffee at Breakfast time."

This duration allows visitors to explore the rich history and significant attractions that Ksamil has to offer, making it great value for money, especially for those on a budget. Additionally, prices for accommodations might drop during these months, making it an even more appealing option for travellers.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To discover last-minute deals for accommodation in Ksamil, visit the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute Deals sections on Hotels.com, where you may find discounted hotel rates as your travel date approaches. By keeping an eye on price drops and availability, you're more likely to seize opportunities for a budget-friendly getaway.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates might help you save on your stay at a hotel in Ksamil. If you're in search of something distinctive, boutique hotels can provide a more personalised experience and potentially better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we'll inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. - Consider your location: Staying closer to key attractions or city centres can offer convenience, but it usually tends to come with higher costs. For more affordable options, consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between price and ease of access to the sites you wish to visit. You might also look into independent hotels a bit further out, which can provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
