It appears the hotel may have recently changed hands so this may not be fair. It was the least expensive room we had during our stay in Korea so I guess we got what we paid for but I looked and saw they are charging almost double for the same room in November - I would not stay there for that rate or again even at the cheaper rate. The bathroom was clean but the general appearance of the room was not clean. The sheets had stains on them, the walls had several markings on them, looked very dirty. There was one table in the room and the top had sticky stuff on it, just a bit of a let down. The area is very cool, LOTS of thrift shops and places to eat. Korea in general is very safe but no closed room to leave luggage, and minimally manned front desk, if you arrive/leave before or after check-in/check out times.
