Just a quiet clean room, exactly what we needed. A pub just like 5 steps away with excellent people giving us a very warm welcome. Felt at ease straight away.

The bed was clean but the overall room needed a good clean.

2/10 Poor

Okay by British standards I guess, but compared to any continental hotel poor.

Ideal
We arrived later than we had planned but received a warm welcome from the hosts. We had the family room which is a good size, well decorated, warm and comfortable. The accomodation was spotless. We didnt eat there but will need to be in Cambridge in aroun 6 months time, so hoping we can stay again. Great value for money. Highly recommended.

Michelle, was a great host. The bar is lovely and quaint. A perfect pit stop for a couple of nights for myself and 3 under 14s. She made sure there was plenty for breakfast and anything we needed she was there. The rooms are bright and airy and a good sized shower space.

Acceptable
Very basic pub accommodation. Clean but very dated. Pub did not serve food. Breakfast was a pre-packed croissant. Acceptable but thats about all.

Excellent overnight stay
The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast in the room more than met our requirements.

Good facilities, value & a friendly welcome. A room away from the road would be quieter

Thank you for your welcome, enjoyed our stay.
Friendly welcome, good accommodation, nice brekkie. All staff we met were great. Stopped for one night before heading on to Cambridge. As far as value for money goes this would be very difficult to beat.

Very helpful and friendly. Lovely and comfortable and private. I even had my suitcase carried in by the Manager’s son (thank you) Great place to stay will book again
Lorraine, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Very quiet and comfortable stay.
Very comfortable, quaint rooms. We were only there for a night but would be more than happy to spend longer there. Cooked breakfast would have been nice but we were really happy with the price so you can't have everything. The continental breakfast provided was fine. Owners were lovely and we enjoyed a drink with them in the evening.

Working locally
Upon arrival we were made to feel welcome and safe. The room was clean and dry, the only downside was being able to hear the cellar cooling machine during the night. Otherwise good.

Delightful traditional B&B
It was just a flying stop, breaking up a long journey. The King's Head was just what the doctor ordered. Ben was really friendly and accommodating. The room was nice and clean, the bed comfortable, and the full English breakfast the following morning set me up for a ling day travelling. I would happily stay here again
